A backlog of orders and enquiries after the fourth reprint of Vehicle-dependent Expedition Guide sold out has – together with disquiet at the outrageous prices being asked for used copies – has triggered a further, limited, reprint of the 560-page planners’ tome.
Author, and off-roading legend as featured in this very magazine, Tom Sheppard admits that the decision to do a ‘straight, same-again’ reprint of the 2.1 edition inevitably yielded to the urge to administer tweaks and updates to some sections.The format itself has changed and innovative printing and re-speccing has made it possible to reduce the price of the new edition from £40 to £36.
